We hereby confirm the cooperation between Solet Sp. z o.o. and Lewiatan Holding S.A. on the Assortment Recommendations project, whose goal was the end-to-end optimisation of the assortment recommendation process across the Lewiatan store chain.
The project focused on streamlining the key assortment planning processes, improving data quality, and increasing operational efficiency by removing bottlenecks and automating the teams' work.
Scope and character of the project
The scope of work covered an analysis of the existing assortment recommendation processes, identification of the key challenges, and the design of a new, optimised operating model. The main challenges concerned the complexity of the decision-making processes, the fragmentation of data, and the significant share of manual operations. Solet's team of experts designed the process architecture, taking responsibility both for the concept of the target operating model and for the development and deployment of the solutions supporting it.
Optimisation and results
As part of the project, a detailed analysis of each stage of the recommendation process was carried out, identifying the areas that required automation and improvement. The solutions designed made it possible to automate key activities, improve data consistency, and streamline the flow of information between teams. Rolling out the new model delivered measurable benefits, including: · a streamlined and standardised assortment recommendation process, · reduced risk of errors caused by manual data handling, · better quality and consistency of the data used in planning, · higher work efficiency and better cooperation between departments.
User support and technology
The project included the rollout of tools for end users, characterised by intuitive operation and a high level of automation. Solet provided implementation support and training, enabling the new solutions to be put to effective use in day-to-day work. The project was delivered using modern technologies, in particular Azure Databricks, Power Apps and Power Automate, which made it possible to process data efficiently, build applications supporting users, and automate the key stages of the process.
